Growth Doesn’t Always Feel Aligned (And That’s Okay)

Sometimes alignment feels like tension, not ease.

The path that grows you won’t always feel like the path that soothes you.

We hear it everywhere:

  • “If it’s aligned, it’ll feel easy.”

  • “Trust the path of least resistance.”

  • “You’ll just know when it’s right.”

But here’s the hard truth:

Not everything that grows you will feel peaceful in the beginning.
And not everything that’s comfortable is aligned with your growth.

Alignment isn’t about emotional ease.
It’s about energetic integrity.

Sometimes, alignment feels like:

  • Saying “no” to what used to define you

  • Setting a boundary and feeling guilty afterward

  • Letting go of what no longer fits

  • Stepping into the unknown — before you feel ready

Growth often looks like chaos, not calm.
And that’s not misalignment — that’s recalibration.

🔍 How to Tell If It’s Misalignment vs. Growing Pains

Ask yourself:

✦ Is this draining me… or stretching me?

→ Draining = I feel depleted, confused, energetically unsafe
→ Stretching = I feel challenged, raw, and called to rise

✦ Is this disrupting my nervous system… or my ego?

→ If it’s nervous system chaos, pause and care for it
→ If it’s ego discomfort, lean in — that’s where growth lives

🧘 Practice: Sit in the Stretch

When something feels off, don’t flee it.

Instead, ask:

“What if this tension is part of my realignment?”

Try breathing with the discomfort instead of resisting it.
That’s how you widen your capacity to receive the life you’re building.
